Conducted by graduate students in the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program, the research examined the landscape of Strategic Partnerships, Integrations and Amalgamations in Canada and the factors that enable or inhibit their success. It combined a review of Canadian and international literature with interviews with senior nonprofit leaders with experience of SPIAs (Da Silva et al., 2026).
