Our Members

Working together for a fairer, safer and more sustainable world.

Cooperation Canada’s members are Canadian civil society organizations engaged in international cooperation and humanitarian action. Together, they represent a diverse network of organizations committed to advancing human rights, gender equality and sustainable development around the world.

Our members collaborate, share knowledge and strengthen their collective impact by engaging with peers across the sector, government and global partners.

Who Our Members Are

Our membership spans organizations of all sizes and mandates—from large national NGOs to smaller, regionally based organizations working across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and beyond. What unites them is a shared commitment to principled, effective and inclusive international cooperation.

Members bring expertise across a wide range of areas, including humanitarian response, climate action, gender equality, food security, health, education, peacebuilding and locally led development. This diversity strengthens the network and ensures that the sector’s collective voice reflects the full range of Canadian civil society.

How Members Engage

Members participate in the life of the network in many ways. Through working groups, members collaborate on shared policy priorities, exchange knowledge and coordinate advocacy efforts. Through events like the Leaders Forum, the International Cooperation Futures Forum and Hill Day, members connect with peers, engage decision-makers and help shape the direction of the sector.

Members also access learning opportunities, professional development resources and direct engagement with Global Affairs Canada through consultations, advisory groups and sector dialogues.
