Additional Benefits In addition to the core benefits above, members receive: Access to member‑led working groups and networks, including the Innovative Finance Working Group, Communications Working Group and Emerging Leaders Network Opportunities to engage with Global Affairs Canada through consultations, advisory groups and sector dialogues Invitations to member‑only webinars, briefings and calls Exclusive access to selected member resources and content Discounted registration for Cooperation Canada events Two free job postings and five free volunteer postings per year Amplification of member work through Cooperation Canada’s channels Access to a shared workspace when travelling to Ottawa Member travel and accommodation discounts with selected partners Process to Become a Member Requirements Application Review Membership Fees Organizations seeking membership must Be federally or provincially incorporated in Canada as a non‑profit organization Be engaged in international cooperation‑related activities Have been active in Canada for at least two years Application Steps Complete the membership application form Indicate how your organization will be compliant with the Code of Ethics within three years of membership approval Submit the required supporting documents: Most recent annual report Audited financial statements Letters patent By-laws Provide two letters of support from current Cooperation Canada members Application Review Process Applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee, composed of Board members, and assessed based on: Likelihood of compliance with the Code of Ethics Current or potential contribution to the sector Expertise or experience that enhances the diversity of the membership The Committee makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors, which makes the final decision. Approved applications are ratified by members at the Annual General Meeting. Membership Fees Membership dues are calculated based on the number of staff reported in your organization’s most recent CRA T3010 filing, using figures available at the start of Cooperation Canada’s fiscal year on April 1.
