A specialist in human rights, protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH), child protection and humanitarian law, he holds a law degree and a master’s degree in international cooperation and humanitarian aid. Ernest is an expert in institutional development and capacity building, project management, development programs and humanitarian aid, both within the United Nations system and with other international organizations, consultancies, national non-governmental organizations, and government departments. He has extensive experience of working internationally with the United Nations, and has worked in urban and rural areas, in sites hosting refugees and returnees, as well as in conflict-stricken and stable regions.
