Ernest has strong skills in facilitating training and developing modules on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEAH), accountability to affected populations (AAP), gender-based violence (GBV), community Based Complaint mechanism (CBCM), human rights ; promotion of democratic governance; capacity-building for the creation and management of decentralized public services; community involvement and local governance, context analysis, project monitoring and evaluation; organizational development and the development of codes of conduct. He has more than 13 years’ experience in safeguarding and protecting against sexual exploitation and abuse, supporting local organizations in many different countries and contexts. A specialist in human rights, protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH), child protection and humanitarian law, he holds a law degree and a master’s degree in international cooperation and humanitarian aid. Ernest is an expert in institutional development and capacity building, project management, development programs and humanitarian aid, both within the United Nations system and with other international organizations, consultancies, national non-governmental organizations, and government departments. He has extensive experience of working internationally with the United Nations, and has worked in urban and rural areas, in sites hosting refugees and returnees, as well as in conflict-stricken and stable regions.
