PSEA training facilitation and content development consultant available to support organizations with their PSEA training needs. Most recently, Renée co-developed and co-facilitated a PSEA training on working with partners and co-facilitated a PSEA Training of Trainers for Digna, as well as supporting civil society organizations in designing and implementing Safeguarding/PSEA policies and feedback mechanisms in Poland and Romania. She has worked in humanitarian assistance for almost 15 years, including almost 5 years in protection in conflict-affected and refugee hosting countries in various regions within Africa (e.g., West, East, and the Horn), and in the Middle East and South Asia. This experience has also included acting as PSEA focal point for humanitarian organizations in Bangladesh and Lebanon, representing GBV survivors in civil court in the U.S., and co-chairing a GBV sub-working group in South Sudan. She also has a Training of Trainers Certificate from Save the Children and has done multiple trainings for staff and volunteers with various organizations, as well as community members, on a number of protection-related topics (e.g., GBV, protection mainstreaming, and protection monitoring).
