Lucy Heaven Taylor a senior consultant with over 20 years experience of working on safeguarding and PSEAH in the humanitarian and development sector. She provides advice on safeguarding and PSEAH (protection from sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment) to clients such as UN Women, FCDO, Oxfam, Bond and CHS Alliance. Her high-level experience includes training, organisational review, strategy development, toolkit design and evaluation. She is a trained safeguarding investigator with experience in facilitating workshops on implementing safeguarding and investigating safeguarding reports. She is a member of FCDO’s Independent Reference Group on PSEAH, the IASC Technical Experts Group on PSEAH and the UKCDR (UK Collaborative on Development Research) Safeguarding Expert Advisory Group. She is a regular contributor on discussion panels and in the media, and gave evidence to the UK Parliament International Development Committee Enquiry into Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in the Aid Sector. She is a CHS approved trainer delivering training on investigating SEA, and a regular trainer for Bond’s Good Safeguarding Practice and Managing Safeguarding Investigations training. In addition she is an Associate Lecturer for the Oxford Brookes University Masters in Development and Emergency Practice.
