In my trainings, I also facilitate conversations about workplace culture, mental models and power structures in order to facilitate change in harassment prevention work. I also train key actors in organizations so they create their own context-specific material and train their own staff, colleagues and volunteers. In my trainings on harassment and sexual violence prevention, I use the Red Flag System, a concept Sara Hassan and myself developed in “It’s Not That Grey”, a practical guide on the twilight of sexual harassment. The guide raises awareness on the fact that sexual harassment in on a spectrum and often develops seemingly harmlessly. The Red Flag System gives practical tools to identify sexual harassment in its early stages and therefore take action before the situation becomes much graver. I believe the Red Flag System is particularly relevant to PSEA in the international cooperation field. I recognise myself in Digna’s feminist and intersectional values and I believe I can make meaningful contributions to your work on PSEA. I build and facilitate my own trainings, in person or online, from small workshops to large-scale with several hundreds of people. I can take on assignments on very short notice and be operational very quickly, e.g. to facilitate trainings with existing material. I am passionate about translating complex information into accessible information and therefore love producing new and innovative training material. I have a unique background of human rights law and gender studies and a thorough knowledge of the root causes and illustrations of sexual violence, sexual abuse and exploitation. In terms of topics, I have experience in: Policies and code of conduct development; Gender-responsive policies and practices Organizational change and leadership on SEA; Assessing PSEA needs and prioritizing efforts as an organization Survivor-centered response and support mechanisms Establishing organizational reporting systems that are safe, confidential, adequate, accessible, and effective Training and communicating on SEA prevention: Train-the-trainer approaches; Working with partners Services Consulting Training Expertise PSEAH Geographic Coverage Global Working Languages English French
