Janet Anaele

Janet Ifunanya Anaele is a Child Protection- (CP), Sexual and Gender-based violence- (SGBV), Social Inclusion, Psychosocial Support(PSS), and safeguarding professional in both humanitarian and development settings. She has worked with different INGOs and NGOs/CBOs providing technical leadership, and capacity-building training, developing and quality assuring training materials on protection and safeguarding. She has supported Resource and Support Hub (RSH) partner organizations to create and integrate safeguarding into program activities and proposal development, develop organizational policies and procedures and establish safe and effective reporting mechanisms. Janet has provided guidance to the program team on safe programming including designing tools, conducting research on emerging risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Janet is highly skilled in providing survivor-centered case management support and facilitating safe and confidential referrals for survivors and has provided these services on InterAction From Pledge 2 Action Project (FP2A). Janet is a certified CP/GBV Case Management Trainer and a member of the GBVH case management pool of trainers in Nigeria.
