Caroline Lemay
Omega Ombudservices

I am offering advising services for small organizations who have to manage cases of sexual misconduct, and coaching for internal investigators mandated to deal with such complaints. As an ombudsperson, investigator and conflict management practitioner for 15 years, I specialized my interventions for small organizations and communities. I have a confirmed experience in management of sexual misconduct. My approach is trauma-informed, oriented towards restorative justice principles and seeks to foster a sense of fairness and trust in order to protect the relationships that underlies a community. I am trained as a lawyer and worked for 4 years in the humanitarian field at the beginning of my career. Those experiences led me understand the necessity to articulate interventions around the spirit of the rules and norms applicable in order to be culturally sensitive. It also helped me to understand the reality of international cooperation work.
