2025 Civil 7 Summit

The C7 Summit 2025 will be held in Ottawa, Canada, on April 14-15, 2025. This important summit is organized as part of Canada’s leadership of the G7 process in 2025, with Cooperation Canada leading the Civil 7 (C7) engagement group.

The C7 Summit serves as a critical platform for global civil society to engage with G7 governments. 1. On Day 1, civil society representatives will finalize the C7 Communique, a policy package that addresses global concerns and serves as a key tool for engaging with governments and inter-governmental bodies.
2. On Day 2, civil society will present these recommendations to the Government of Canada and G7 diplomatic representatives, facilitating direct dialogue on the future of global governance and Canada’s role in the G7 in 2025.
