Canadian Foodgrains Bank is recruiting for a senior policy advisor to join our public policy team, working on our climate change file. This is a fulltime permanent position. In this role, you will take the lead in research, writing, and advocacy on the impact of climate change on global hunger, ensuring alignment with the Foodgrains Bank’s values and policies.
For success in this role you will need critical thinking skills, knowledge of climate change issues, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage complex relationships. English language fluency is required. Staff in this position must be able to support the Christian motivation of the organization. Applicants must be eligible for employment in Canada. A criminal record check will also be required.
This position is ideally based in Winnipeg or Ottawa. Other locations may be considered.
