The WFM-Canada is thrilled to announce our upcoming first annual World Federalist Conference on June 3rd from 10:00am to 7:00pm (EST)! The conference will feature a variety of events, including presentations, panels, simulations, and trivia, giving participants the opportunity to tailor their experience based on their interests and availability. The theme of this year’s conference is “How a UN Parliamentary Assembly could address nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament.”
We are excited to offer the chance for attendees to register as delegates and participate in the UN Parliamentary Assembly simulation. Immerse yourself in the Model UN Parliamentary Assembly and other events that explore more democratic governance approaches. At the end of the last committee session of the UNPA simulation, the delegate that demonstrated the best performance as judged by the moderators will be awarded the “Outstanding Delegate” title, which includes a prize trip to Ventotene, Italy to attend the prestigious Ventotene International Seminar! The Outstanding Delegate will have expenses related to transportation (flight and other travelling fares), lodging, and food covered by the movement for the seminar! The Ventotene International Seminar provides a platform for thought-provoking debate and discussion on European integration and federalism.
Whether you only have 30 minutes, 1 hour, or can attend for the full 9-hour duration of the conference, we welcome you to join us and be part of this important conversation on global governance! Register now as an attendee or delegate. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
Join the conference as an attendee. We encourage registrants to choose which events they’re interested in attending!
