Designing for Emergence – Complex Challenges in Sustainable Development

November 12 @ 9:00 am - November 13 @ 5:00 pm EST

Scholar-practitioner Christina Comeau will be facilitating a series of workshops on Designing for Emergence – Complex Challenges in Sustainable Development.

Participants will gain insight into sustainable development as a complex system and how leaders might work within complexity to nurture emergent solutions where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

This will be a 3-part series of 1.5 day workshops offered at no cost to sector leaders.  There will be some flexibility if participants are unable to make one of the parts of the series.

Dates are:

  • November 12 – 13 – Leading in Complexity
  • December 8 – 9 – Visualizing Complexity
  • January 12 – 13 – Collective Governance

Christina is a scholar-practitioner with over 20 years’ experience and 150+ projects in transformational change with clients in the public, corporate, and academic sectors.

This series will be part of Christina’s participatory research for her Masters in Leadership Studies.

All workshop participants will receive Christina’s thesis documenting the findings and recommendations of this project and will be invited to a knowledge sharing webinar in April 2021.
