In July 2019, CCIC was at the 2019 UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) where we presented at the session ‘Four years of Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs): what have we learned on implementing the SDGs?’.

Shannon Kindornay, Director of Research, Policy and Practice with CCIC was at that meeting and presented findings of policy briefs prepared jointly by CCIC and BCCIC.

This session, during which 142 countries presented reports, highlighted the VNRs’ areas of added value, challenges and lessons learned, as well as specific initiatives taken at the regional and national levels to make progress on the 2030 Agenda.
