Gender in Humanitarian Assistance Training – HRN 2023

June 8 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm EDT

Event Series Event Series (See All)

Last Registration Day – June 2nd, 2023 (for HRN members), June 7th (for non-members)

The two suggested webinars will cover basic concepts of Gender in Humanitarian Assistance, including Why is Gender Equality Essential to Humanitarian Action (day 1) and Integrating Gender into the Humanitarian Program Cycle (Day 2).

The webinars aim to ensure that all participants understand these basic concepts prior to considering joining the 3-days comprehensive GiHA training which will be offered by HRN in September 2023.

The webinars may be a refresher for staffs of organizations that have already provided basic gender training internally, or completely new material for organizations that have not been able to provide such training. They will also be an occasion for all participants to identify content they would like to see included in the comprehensive training that will follow in September.
