Centering Agency in International Cooperation (IJM)

Join us for “International Development Week (2024)”, an annual event organized by the International Development Postgraduate Program of The Business School at Centennial College. The event will be held in-person on Monday, February 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m and Tuesday, February 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Centennial’s Event Centre.

On IDW 2024 Day 1, participants will have the opportunity to understand Indigenous Peoples’ rights and learn about Truth and Reconciliation, in an educational activity led by facilitators, Suzanne Rumsey and Cheryl Marek, of PWRDF. Please note that Day 1 is limited only to Centennial College’s community.

On the morning of IDW 2024 Day 2, the speakers will discuss opportunities and challenges for the international development sector, and how we can collaborate to make a difference. In the afternoon, we will have several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to showcase their work, tell their stories, and communicate with students and professionals who have similar interests and concerns.
